Why your total is higher than the government fee

What part of your payment goes to the US authorities, what part is our service, and what that service buys you.

The US government charges its own fee for every ESTA application. That fee is part of what you pay us, and we pass it on in full when we file your application. The rest is our service fee.

The breakdown for your group is shown at checkout before you confirm, so you can see exactly what you are paying.

What the service fee covers

  • A form in your language, in a simpler order than the official one, with your passport scanned in rather than typed

  • A check by a member of our team of your passport, your photo, your identity fields and the coherence of your answers

  • Correction of anything that would cause a problem, before the application is filed and while correction is still possible

  • Filing on your behalf, and payment of the government fee

  • Tracking, follow up and human support until the decision

You can pay less by applying yourself

If you are comfortable answering the official questions in English and checking your own documents, apply directly at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov and pay only the government fee. We would rather tell you that than have you feel misled later.

Why the check is the part that matters

An application that has been filed cannot be corrected. A name that does not match the passport exactly, an unreadable passport image or an incoherent answer becomes a problem you carry into your trip.

Most of what our team catches is small: a middle name entered in the wrong field, a passport number with a confused zero and O, a photo taken against a patterned wall. Small, and expensive if it goes through uncorrected.

One fee per traveller

Both the government fee and our service fee apply per person, including children, because each traveller is a separate application. There is no family rate.
