How our service works, step by step

What happens between your payment and your authorization, and what we do that you are paying for.

From your side the process is short: fill in a form, upload two documents, pay, then wait for a message. Here is what actually happens on our side in between.

1. You complete the form

Our form asks the same information as the official application, in your language and in a simpler order. If you have your passport with you, you can scan it and most of the identity fields fill in by themselves.

2. You pay and your file is created

The moment your payment goes through, your file is created and given a file number beginning with VP. That number is how you and we refer to your application from then on, and it is half of your login to your tracking area.

3. You send your documents

Your application needs a photo of your passport and a recent photo of you. If either is missing, your file waits, and this is by far the most common reason an application is delayed.

4. Our team checks everything

A member of our team goes through your file: that the passport is readable and valid, that your name and passport number match it exactly, that your answers are complete and coherent, and that your photo meets the requirements.

If something is wrong we contact you and ask for a correction before submitting. This is the part of the service that actually protects you, because an application already filed cannot be corrected.

5. We submit to the US authorities

Once your file is clean we file it with the US authorities on your behalf and pay the government fee out of what you paid us.

6. The decision comes back

Most decisions come back quickly, sometimes within minutes, and can take up to 72 hours. We tell you as soon as we have it, and your authorization is available to download from your tracking area.

What we never do

  • Answer the eligibility questions for you

  • Change what you told us to make an application look better

  • Promise you an approval, or a date for the decision

  • Contact the US authorities to push a file along, which is not possible for anyone
